Update on SteStuff – Pay Per Bug Project
Hey Friends,
Here is a small update on Pay Per Bug project.
When we started SteStuff way back in 2009, the idea was to build a platform where all the new and experienced testers can get all the info and network with each other. I guess we achieved it to satisfactory. Monthly 30,000 Test engineers read SteStuff and contribute to Interview Q & A’s section.
Later we got emails from many companies regarding openings and we posted the same under Jobs Section
Then we got many emails asking to provide testing services and help testing their Products, we smoothly rejected those offers. Now we have decide to build a platform where test engineers can find bugs and get paid per bug.
Our aim is to build a platform which would be beneficial to both Customers and Testers i.e Platform would work in Pay Per Bug model for both customers and testers.
This way testers get extra bucks and customers get bug free Product at less than 10% of what they usually pay by outsourcing it.
We are happy to announce that we already have 10+ products in pipeline to get started.
Sounds interesting? Curious to have first look and know more?
Oh Yeah its called GroupTest.ME and we are proud to announce that GroupTestME is World’s first free crowdsource software testing platform. Oops does it sound more interesting? Yes, its completely free for clients to post their products. Testers will just find bugs and client will directly pay them through GroupTest.ME .
We are coming soon… meanwhile you can register and be the first to test.
Btw we got enormous response (1000+ emails) to our last week post : SteStuff – Find Bugs and Get Paid

Hi,
Here I want to give some suggestion on the registration page.I could enter a invalid mail id like
1. ” .@gmail .com” . there is no error message for such entry.
2. Password length is not mentioned. It sems t obe good it it is mentioned in the registration page.
3.Phone no.I entered more than 11 character but still I didn’t get any error message for that.
4. It,s good that you validate the email address before you send the confirmation mail for the successful registration.

@Pradeep,
Thanks for the suggestions, we ll try to incorporate them very soon as we are pretty busy in developing actual platform. We assumed our fellow Test engineers won’t test or spam us thru that page
