Understanding Standard Checkpoint in QTP
Posted By Lax on February 24th, 2009 in QTP Lessons
A STANDARD checkpoint enables you to check the state of an object property, such as a button, a check box, or a radio button.
To insert a CHECKPOINT from the QuickTest Professional menu bar, select INSERT ?CHECKPOINT ? STANDARD CHECKPOINT. The CHECKPOINT PROPERTIES dialog box appears. This dialog box provides available property information for the specified object class.

The STANDARD checkpoint checks for a constant or parameterized property value of an object in the Application. You can add a checkpoint during or after Recording a Test.
