Running a Test and Saving Results

To run a Test and write the test Results in a temporary folder:

1. On the QuickTest Professional Toolbar, click RUN (AUTOMATION ? RUN).The RUN dialog box appears.
2. In the RUN dialog box, click the TEMPORARY RUN RESULTS FOLDER (OVERWRITES ANY EXISTING TEMPORARY RESULTS) option.
3. Click OK.
4. To run the test from a particular step, select the step in KEYWORD VIEW. From the QuickTest Professional
   menu bar, select AUTOMATION ? RUN FROM STEP.
5. If you have multiple Actions in a test, you can run the test from a specific Action. To run the test from a specific action,select the action in the test in KEYWORD VIEW. From the QuickTest Professional menu bar, select
   AUTOMATION ? RUN CURRENT ACTION.
