Job Description:

  • 9+ Years of experience with excellent technical skills and should have sound technical acumen and orientation with a focus on Lyer1 and Layer 2 testing.
  • Specific skills should be at least 5 years of relevant experience on layer 1 and Layer2 in more than 3 areas of the following.
  • Ethernet, T1/E1, ATM, Frame-relay, Sonet /SDH family (OC3, OC12, OC192, OC48 or channelized versions of the Interfaces,)
  • Technology understanding of Sonet /SDH
  • Exposure in 10Gigabit Ethernet
  • Exposure to 100G is desirable.
  • Exposure on Metro Ethernet and Ethernet OAM technologies is desirable.
  • Excellent automation skills and tool development skills. Should be good on preferably Perl or Shell scripts, TCL/TK
  • Should have very good understanding on testing methodologies, especially in the internetworking domain, and over all understanding of the networking protocols.
  • Should have worked on basic core routing domain, ATM switches and Ethernet Switch/Routers
  • Interoperability testing skills will be an add on advantage
  • Excellent working knowledge of Agilent RT or IXIA or Spirent.
  • Automation script development experience with Agilent RT, IXIA or Spirent Test tools.
