Job Description:

  • Minimum of 9 years of software testing experience, to include a minimum of 3 years in a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager role
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of automation testing tools such as QTP, Selenium, etc is must. Desirable: Load Runner, Silk Performer, etc.
  • Experience of setting up a Automation Testing COE is a plus.
  • Experience in carrying out Proof Of Concepts using different automation testing tools.
  • Experience of Presales, Collateral preparation and technical solution design is a must.
  • Should have the ability to understand the technical aspects of the applications
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of Test automation tools such as QTP, Rational Robot, Load Runner etc. is a plus
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of software testing metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria
  • Prior onsite/offshore project management experience combined with proven ability to manage a variety of projects with varying levels of complexity to successful completion
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must.
  • Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner
  • Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and Product quality and reliability.
  • Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (agile, iterative, Waterfall) and contemporary software quality assurance processes (ISO, CMM, CMMi) and automated tools.
  • Must have experience in managing and working with distributed team members.
  • Knowledge of internet and e-business processes, disciplines and standards.
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.
