Job Description:

  • 3 to 5 years of QA experience
  • Should have been a lead in at least 2 to 3 projects (if short duration) or 1 project of long duration (Min of 3 to 5 member team)
  • Should have prepared a QA Test Plan
  • Hands on experience on Unix and SQL
  • Good understanding of different kinds of tests like
  • Performance tests
  • Data warehouse testing
  • Application security tests
  • white Box testing
  • Should have knowledge of Metrics (Effort Variation, Schedule Variation, Defect Leakage)
  • Should have experience in some Estimation methods (Test Case Point [TCP], Use Case Point [UCP] or any other method of Effort Estimation)
  • Should not only talk about delegating work, but should also be performing a percentage of the project work
  • Should have been responsible for preparing Status reports (Daily / Weekly)
  • Onsite experience is a plus but not a must
  • Should have had direct interaction with the client (through emails / telecons)
  • Knowledge and experience in Configuration Management (using Visual Source Safe / StarTeam etc)
  • Should have handled Project Quality Audits
  • Should have performed reviews of project documents / test cases etc
