Job Description:

  • At least 14 years of experience in Software applications testing (mix of projects and products testing)
  • Should have worked at least 5 years in Tier 1 / Tier 2 services companies in testing competency.
  • Should have setup end to end Life Cycle testing process at least once in the career and managed it.
  • At least 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor in testing
  • Candidate should be technically hands on and be experienced in Running large testing team. Candidate should have hands on knowledge on how to run functional, system, Performance and scalability testing with most common testing tools.
  • Very well versed in testing tools from companies such as Mercury (Win runner & Load runner), Segue (Silk Test), and IBM (Rational tool set), or open source tools such as Grinder and Selenium.
  • Previous experience building organizations and process with major contributions made towards process improvement (ISO 9000 or CMM)
  • The candidate must have a good understanding of technology. Specifically, they must understand the Java/J2EE development stack and Microsoft stack, be familiar with messaging (Web services), and have a very good understanding of how to test multi-tiered Java/J2EE & .NET applications.
  • The candidate must have designed, implemented, and executed tests for complex applications such as Portal Development, CRM etc
