Job Description:

  • Candidate must be familiar with the Mutual Funds and Investment Management industry
  • Exposure to any structured software development life-cycle methodology ( preferably Agile or Iterative development).Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology
  • Experience and working knowledge of tools such as Quality centre,
  • Ability to liaise with a number of stakeholders in Application development and business groups
  • Knowledge and experience in defining the Test design and architecture of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based solutions preferably around acquisition, management and distribution of enterprise data for an asset management company
  • Knowledge and experience in testing services which are developed using technologies like SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML etc
  • Testing the security/authorization and authentication implementations
  • Ability to think from a customer viewpoint and to understand the complexities of the business.
  • Ability to analyse the data and spot the failure/corruption trends.
  • Ability to analyse defects and spot trends
  • Ability to accurately log defects, escalate issues and risks and provide accurate management reporting.
  • Thorough understanding of test principles such as unit, smoke, functional (black box/white box), user acceptance and usability testing.
  • Thorough understanding of automation test principles
  • Experience of working in tight deadlines in a mature ‘time-boxed’ testing environment
  • Be able to demonstrate consistent and good judgement of assessing severity of issue
