Job Description:

Day - to - Day Responsibilities:
• Plan and direct the work-stream activities to achieve targets and standards for performance, quality, culture and legislative adherence.
• Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies
• Ensure customer focus by meeting production targets through timeliness and quality compliance.
• Monitor weekly productivity and quality reporting.
• Review weekly performance reports for Analysts, Team Leaders and Managers.
• Consolidate management reports including weekly performance reports.
• Monitor and review, with Team Leaders, the performance of production staff.
• Providing architectural and technical guidance to Product development
• Ensuring sound engineering design, process and quality practices are followed.
• Define projects to the team and allocate and monitor tasks to team members
• Manage the resource requirements in terms of hardware, software and people, ensuring optimum utilization of resources
• Ensure sound security engineering practices are followed
• Overseeing software certification processes as needed
• Deliver finished, high quality, and compelling software products
• To act as a mentor and ensure that the team works effectively
• To monitor process compliance, through sample checks, and take corrective Action in case of non-compliance
• Develop project plans and Report project status to related stake holders
• Manage effective relations with associated work teams
• Implementing new technology and applications, and managing technology upgrades
• Introducing team members to new technologies and working towards skill enhancements
• Work with management and staff in finding solutions to quality issues.
• Assist in the hiring and training of high quality staff.
• Assist planning for appropriate resource allocation and utilization to cater for seasonal peaks and troughs.
• Add value by identifying opportunities to improve process and initiate action to implement these (where appropriate) to deliver the highest possible level of customer service with the highest possible efficiency.
• Create Key Metrics for the work-stream which will coincide with the organization objectives and goals and should have the capability in monitoring these metrics closely and giving valuable feedback to the team.
• Ensure that process improvement is monitored closely and report on quarterly progress.

Desired Profile :

Qualifications:
* Graduate in B.E, MBA, M.Sc, MCA & M.Tech.
* 8-10 years experience. BFSI experience is mandatory. Experience of handling US business will be an added qualification, stable.
Required Skills:

* Demonstrated process improvement skills.
* Should be metric driven and should be strong in analytical and Logical abilities.
* 10+ years experience. BFSI experience is mandatory. Experience of handling US business will be an added qualification, stable.
* Hands on with Manual & Automated Testing, willing to work under stretched time lines. Should be handling team of 50+
* Able to set up project processes from scratch, guiding the Technology team and tailoring them for the project needs.
* Responsible for developing, applying & maintaining quality standards of the Software products/Applications.
* Should be able to demonstrate release & configuration management.
* Responsible for creating Test plans including gathering test requirements, Use-cases & Risk assessment as per the product release schedule.
Desired Skills:
* Desired Candidate should have min 8 Years of Hard core Experience in Software Quality Assurance process.
* Should have managed larger team(50 and above) for at least for couple of years.
* Additional courses in Business / Accounting / Finance will be a value addition.
* Should possess strong technical & people management skills in product development Life Cycle.
* Providing solutions to a diverse range of complex issues, Identifies unusual technical problems and escalates them for resolution.
* Incumbent has to spearhead all facets of QA Project management with limited guidance.
* Should have strong debugging/diagnostic and analytical skills.
* Expertise in successfully delivering multiple Quality Process engagements preferably in a product based company.
* To be part of a solution team and involved in an end to end assignment.
* Able to communicate clearly with developers in an open source project environment.
* Can learn and implement new techniques quickly and effectively.
* Should have Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
Certifications Required:
* Should be a Sig Sigma Certified /Trained Professional or lead an ISO certified operation.
