Job Description:

In This role you will be testing both the clients and the server applications that Affle provides. This would involve understanding MNOs technologies, high load real time systems and a myriad of mobile phone applications.

The Key parts would include

  • Understanding the MNOs mobile client server model
  • Creating Scripts to help testing
  • Using Testing tools to perform path testing functional testing, Stress testing and performance testing
  • Creating Test plans
  • Be a part of SLDC especially on the design, testing and deployment periods.
  • Our environment is fast paced high pressured and geared towards innovation and creativity.
  • Minimum Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant quality assurance experience
  • Display the capability of being thorough and methodical
  • Experience with testing tracking tools in the past
  • Experience in using ticketing solutions in the past
  • Experience in using testing tools is a plus i.e. JMeter Mercury etc
  • It would be a plus if this person has worked with mobile devices in the past
  • Having done server based testing is a plus
  • Being able to code simple scripts for the purpose of testing using perl php etc. would be advantageous.
