Job Description:

Manages and analyzes business requirements with the ability to prioritize during changes and conflicts
Understands the functional / technical aspects of the Product/Application being tested in addition to quickly adapt to the domain

  • Ability to break down the Test scenarios into unit level conditions as per the test design guidelines
  • Setup test environment
  • Analyze test Results to determine overall quality of software under test
  • Ability to devise, manage and analyzes test strategies, document test plans and test cases based on analysis of business requirements, functional requirements, and design documents
  • Ability to determine test scope and provide accurate test estimates
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot application and environment issues
  • Ability to identify, debug and clearly articulate software defects
  • Must effectively communicate testing status to management
  • Good knowledge of Test Automation. Perform Automated Testing using scripting and Load testing tools
  • Working knowledge of Windows
  • Must have a good knowledge in software development methodologies. Agile development/methodology experience is a huge plus
  • Lead, manage, and participate in the QA testing efforts for multiple software releases.
  • Interact and work closely with the development group and Operations Support group throughout the product development Life Cycle. This includes, but is not limited to, communicating with the various Groups Leaders both in India and USA
  • Review and provide input into requirements, specifications, design documents and other artifacts.
  • Develop and Maintain test plans, testing strategies, use cases, test cases, unit tests, test data, matrices, and other QA related documentation
  • Owns responsibility to assign and manage deliverables for a small team
  • Escalates issues/risks in a timely manner
  • Should be able to identify problem areas and resolve the same logically and independently
  • Expert in various tool set - test management, functional test automation and performance testing
  • Ability to train/mentor other members
