Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for expanding the breadth and depth of testing capabilities in a highly technical environment
  • Responsible for setting up & maintaining Test infrastructure
  • Defining System-wide strategies for Product testing & automation
  • This position entails a high level of responsibility within a time sensitive environment
  • The person would be required to mentor and lead junior employees.
  • The candidate should be a dedicated, self-starter, team player with the ability to work without direction

Experience & Qualifications:

  • B.E/ B.Tech Computer Science / MCA or higher from premier institute
  • Around 10-15 years of experience
  • Must have experience with Windows, UNIX, LINUX, Solaris OS oriented testing and OS administration experience.
  • Must have experience of shell scripting or any other scripting language eg, Perl.
  • Familiarity with automation and white Box testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with working on security products
  • Familiarity with any GUI automation tool is an added advantage
  • Development experience in any of the Java related programs is an added advantage
  • App server administration - Familiarity with Apache Tomcat, BEA Web Logic or other Java Application servers
  • DB Administration & tuning- oracle DBA, or mySQL DBA, with physical data modeling, scripting and SQL query optimization experience.
  • Systems experience - OS administration for Installation, performance tuning and scaling issues

Desired Profile :

Architect for QA group will provide technical guidance to the QA team and work on devising test strategies for Solidcore products. The incumbent will define types of testing to be done for solidcore products, design test setups and resolve technical issues being faced by QA team.
