Job Description:

The QA Engineer will be part of Eka’s QA Team

  • Involvement in the sdlc from design to release
  • Design, Review and Execute Test cases to ensure highest quality deliverables.
  • Create black Box and white Box test suites
  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing functional testing
  • Create status reports showing daily / weekly progress, test execution and defects details

EDUCATION: BE/ME Computer Science/Engineering, with consistently good academic background.

EXPERIENCE: This position requires at least 3 to 4yrs experience in Manual Testing

SKILLSETS
Testing Space

  • Extensive experience with Manual testing
  • Good understanding in testing methodologies & techniques
  • Good understanding in SDLC and Test Life Cycle
  • Good understanding in Defect Management system
  • Good understanding in Review Process & Techniques

Soft Skill:

  • Should have strong analytical skills
  • Should be able to successfully multitask in an interrupt driven environment.
  • Should demonstrate strong and clear communication skills with the ability to work with several diverse groups of people in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication is a must
  • Is responsible for close interaction with the team lead on the project to ensure that all changes to the requirements get translated to the test case document
  • Work closely with the team lead to identify areas and methods to improve testing efficiency, expand test coverage and increase Product reliability
