Job Description:

Software testing skills:

  • 7+ years of experience as Software Test Engineer. Must have good understanding of testing Life Cycle.
  • Have proven track record on the ability to quickly gain detailed understanding of complex applications and their designs
  • Have working knowledge of relational database (oracle and SQL Server) and be able to understand ERD
  • Be able to generate the correct set of data to test Application
  • Ability to manage test defects and manage them to closure
  • Ability to create and manage test cases that fully test the requirements as well as the functionality of the applications
  • Have experience in creating automated test scripts using QTP and other related off-the-shelf tools
  • Have demonstrated ability to write test cases from the requirements, design docs, and codes
  • Have demonstrated ability to create and execute end-to-end test scenarios to emulate user interaction in the production environment
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • some software/application Development experience is a plus
