Job Description:

  • Accuracy of annual plans, its alignment with One HSBC Road MAP and GLT vision,. Control and manage delivery organization within costs and budgets
  • Manage white papers / knowledge documents / Case studies.
  • Provide and create Domain content for reference and implementation. Provide consultancy and share domain knowledge with Senior Leadership in GLT.
  • Prepare Testing Proposals and ROI analysis.
  • Demonstrate end-to-end Testing activities.
  • Make best use/deployment of available skills/resources and build capabilities to meet requirement /expectation on going and expected projects, Contribution to maturity journey of GLT. Focus on utilization contractor resources.
  • Effective usage of RBPM/Optimus prescribed best practices to manage various stages of sdlc, to deliver project/phase within agreed efforts and time. Actively seek sign-off at appropriate level/time.
  • Ensuring compliance to group, GLT standards and procedures. Promote usage of HTS tools, such as Clarity, GRABS/HIBS, RBPM & reusable component repository, QC, Test automation. Demonstrate value of process and standards.
  • Adopt mature people management practices that lead to high team morale and motivation levels. Guide and counsel team members and provide direction and ensure retention of scarce resources
  • Ensure Performance Management, utilization and productivity of the unit.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory issues and compliance of all internal controls.
  • Implement and comply with Group Compliance Policy
  • Should deliver considering the operational risk associated with the role.

Major Challenges:

Jobholder leads a team of around 300+ professionals, across GLT location. The challenges presented are in the areas such as

  • Executive leadership: Growing GLT involvement and accountability of One HSBC Product, in definition/requirement and testing stage.
  • Business Needs: Successfully transform the Domain Knowledge for functional solutions to system design and construction of all Application Systems. Rapidly cater to changing business environment, developing new application in line with domain. Good understanding of Testing Tools available in the market.
  • Growth of delivery unit i.e. in terms of DRP, GLT associate and financial management
  • Establish consulting practice, across Business Analyst A, testing and architecture area.
  • Project management: Ensure regular monitoring/control on all projects; size, effort, schedule and quality.
  • Regular communication with the customer. Post case studies, risk/dependencies and new innovations to the client.
  • People management: Identify and develop leaders and High performers in the delivery unit, ensure optimum utilization of resources
