Job Description:

  • Understand Product / Application features / requirements and define Test Strategy, Test Plan business scenarios and get signoff from clients
  • For automation / performance testing projects:
  • Create design for developing automation framework
  • Develop base automation framework for automation of complex product including creation of libraries for external interfaces like socket, ftp, email
  • Design and review flows for creating automation scripts as per business scenarios
  • Develop and review automation scripts as per automation flow
  • Creation of test data for Running automation scripts
  • Mentor and train other team members in automation techniques and tools, scripting languages and script development
  • Validate defects found by team for correctness and completeness
  • Ensure complete customer focus in deliveries including managing requirements, reviews, obtaining acceptance plans and feedbacks
  • Perform defect triage and root cause analysis

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Developing business scenarios from user stories or use cases
  • Creation of automation framework using QTP
  • Developing automation framework and automation scripts for AJAX Web applications using QTP
  • Writing automation framework and scripts using descriptive programming in QTP with strong knowledge of VBScript.
  • Excellent skills on atleast one Operating System (Windows/Linux/ Unix) and DB (SQL Server/oracle/MySQL)
  • Excellent skills on atleast one Database (SQL Server/oracle/MySQL)
