The Locate in Repository feature enables you to locate the object in the Object Repository corresponding to the one existing in the Application. This feature helps you locate an object in Object Repository after the object has changed.

To locate an object in Object Repository:(Before using this feature, ensure that the application and the specific page are open).

  1. Open the OBJECT REPOSITORY dialog box.
  2. On the Toolbar, click the LOCATE IN REPOSITORY icon. The cursor changes to a pointing hand.
    Note: Alternatively, select VIEW ? LOCATE IN REPOSITORY.
  3. Use the pointing hand to click the required object in your application.
  4. In the SELECT AN OBJECT dialog box, click OK.
  5. The selected object is highlighted in the OBJECT REPOSITORY dialog box.

The Highlight feature highlights the object in the application whereas the Locate in Repository feature locates the
object in Object Repository.
