Executing a Test Created on Web Applications

After you record a Test, you run the test to verify the test Results. You run a test on a Web Application just as you run a test on a Windows-based application. The only difference is that you open a Web browser before playing back a test on a Web application.

To run a test on a Web application:

1. Open the test.
2. Open a Web browser.
3. On the QuickTest Professional Toolbar, click RUN. The RUN dialog box appears.
4. In the RUN dialog box, specify the location where you want to save the test results.
5. Click OK.
