Defining the Logical Name
Posted By Lax on January 27th, 2009 in QTP Lessons
After identifying the class and properties of an object, QuickTest assigns a name to the object. This name is called the Logical name of the object. QuickTest refers to the object in a recorded Test by using its logical name.

Although the logical name given to an object during Recording may be sufficient, editing the logical name can give clarity to the test and the documentation that is generated.
